ABOUT

Founded in 2005, Ajemian Design operates from the principle that exceptional architecture emerges from rigorous attention to both vision and detail.

Principal Erik Ajemian, AIA, NCARB, brings two decades of experience crafting sophisticated residential environments across Manhattan, the Hamptons, Philadelphia, and Virginia. Each project reflects our commitment to architectural integrity within the complex regulatory landscape of premier markets.

Our practice specializes in the strategic transformation of urban and coastal properties—from intimate city residences to expansive estate compounds. We navigate the intricacies of landmarks preservation, building department protocols, and cooperative board approvals with the precision these environments demand.

The studio's approach balances conceptual rigor with pragmatic execution, ensuring each design solution advances both aesthetic ambition and functional performance. Our work speaks to clients who value thoughtful craftsmanship over trends, permanence over fashion.

Erik Ajemian holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. The studio maintains offices in Manhattan's West Chelsea arts district.
